So very often we are so afraid to truly
embrace who we are really meant to be. In my case, it is my
passion in ceramic sculpture, but I've ignored this calling for
the most part of my life. This piece has 3 main branches, like
the branches of a tree - the 1st one is your true
destiny/calling, the 2nd is what you think you are, the 3rd one
is what other people think you ought to be. It is a painful
sculpture, both visually and physically because of the thorns.
More often than not, we have to endure the hardships and pain
that accompanies our calling. Because of the thorns and the
pain, many people don't want to come near it, and thus never
find out who they really are in this life.
