Hand built form - both sculptural and functional. This commissioned set for a couple (hence its name) is formed from one ball of paperclay. The outside texture is created by adding rice to the paperclay and then pinching out the form. Interior of the cups is a beautiful green celadon glaze. Outside glaze is carbon trap shino over iron oxide wash giving a satin to shiny chocolate brown finsh. Food safe, lead-free.
