This seemingly simple piece started me off
on my unglazed series. I wanted to let the natural colors of
the clay carry the form. The choice of where to put each rod is
a deliberate and conscious decision. We are responsible
for the actions we take in our lives. Instead of sticking all
the rods in, I've decided to leave some unused and nearby,
creating more constrast in the arrangement.
